The late 80's Tiong Bahru Market

Allow me walk you down memory lane today.

This was how the Tiong Bahru Market used to look like the the late 1980s.

It was crowded, messy and stuffy but it was GREAT!

Hi,

I've visited your site from time to time. I really have to let you know now that...I find your blog interesting!

I live around Redhill area and I've always been fascinated with the old hdb units in TB. I like art deco :)

Keep up the good work! I've added you in my google reader!

Cheers!

I love these pictures! They are so nostalgic and it really brings me back to the time of the late 80s where I stayed at block 47. I was devastated when the market was torn down!!! It's a waste I don't qualify for HDB flats yet.

Thanks for the info on your blog anyway!
